Director: Robert Cilke
It is with great pleasure that I introduce to you our new Instrumental/Orchestra Director, Robert Cilke. Robert Cilke has a rich history in music. He graduated from North Central University with a Diploma in Music and a Minor in Bible. He received a Bachelor of Music Education Degree from MacPhail College of Music and Master of Arts Degree from Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. He has taught music for many years and from 1972–1976 was Chairman of the Music Department at North Central University where he conducted the North Central Chorale, Concert Choir and the University Band.He has served as a clinician, adjudicator, and guest conductor. He pastored for 38 years, 30 years as Senior Pastor at Brookdale Christian Center in Brooklyn Center. He is now retired. He's married to Barbara, and they have 3 children and 7 grandchildren.
