Sunday school

Dear Parents,

I can hardly believe it, but it is September already! This summer has been so excellent and we hope your time spent with Sunday School has been too. If you have not checked out Sunday School yet or this is your first time, we are glad you’re here. Normally Sunday school would be at church on Sunday mornings, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, we have moved all of our content online this year and it is super easy to use. Below you will find instructions, videos, and resources for you and your kids to take part in on a weekly basis. There will be things to watch and read together, and resources for more in-depth study and quiet time., which we call God Time. Come back every week throughout the summer to see updated lessons and videos!

First off, Sunday School is free this year, there is no need to register. Now that you’re here on the Welcome Page check out the the Parent Overview PDF. You, the parent, are an intricate part of Sunday School this year and your son or daughter’s spiritual development. We want to keep you “in the know” with our lessons and content.

Next, scroll down the page and select the desired week (you can always go back and view previous weeks if you miss any). Once you’re on the desired week page you will find the weekly lesson videos (broken down by age group), the God Time PDFs (daily quiet time guides, also broken down by age group), and a monthly “dance moves” video for worship with your kids. The “252” videos are for Kindergarten through 3rd graders.

Sunday School content this year is brought to you by the reThink Group and you can visit their website: 252 Kids Cirriculum if you’re interested.

Although the Corona Virus has limited our ability to be together in-person, we believe it is an exciting time to be a Christian and help our kids develop their faith! If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to me at aaron.lynch@nhlc.org

Enjoy your Sunday School!
