Members and Friends of North Heights,
This weekend at North Heights we’ll be exploring the heart of Jesus’ preaching and teaching. It’s a little, powerful statement, “Repent and believe the good news.” (Mark 1:15) At some point in life every person who wants to follow Jesus has to wrestle with what it means to live this statement. Come wrestle this weekend as we gather to worship the Lord in Spirit and Truth!

Do you have faith questions you would like addressed?
The pastoral staff has decided on a teaching series this August entitled “Real Life Faith Questions.” For 5 weeks we will be addressing your questions pertaining to faith, life, the Bible, etc. What I am asking you to do is submit questions you have to questions@nhlc.org. We’ll be sifting through all the questions we receive and pulling out 5 that represent the most common things people have questions about. We’ll be taking questions through mid-June. Thanks for helping us with this series!!
ALPHA’s SUMMER COURSE……is getting up and running on June 3rd with a kick-off brunch. ALPHA is a course that seeks to help people address questions of faith, life and God’s activity in the world. More information can be found at this link. http://www.nhlc.org/alpha
Healing Sunday’s—June 3, 10.
North Heights has an amazing legacy of following the command of Jesus to preach, teach and heal. On April 29th the various healing ministries at North Heights drew together in unity to more purposefully advance this calling from the Lord. Our Lord blesses such unity!
Unity of that magnitude is one of the reasons I’m anticipating God to move in remarkable ways on June 3, 10 when all worship services focus on the ministry of healing. I want to encourage you to come and be bold enough to bring friends and neighbors who are in need of healing in their life. Begin praying for those weekends that the “Lord who heals.” Will advance his kingdom through an outpouring of his healing power on those weekends.
