The Light Studio: Art Academy of North Heights
New ministry! Providing high-quality visual art classes in a Christian context.

North Heights Crisis Fund

Volunteers Needed for Children with Special Needs
Arden Hills campus. One-to-one coaches at 9 & 11am in regular classroom (Pre K–grade 5), assistants in specialized classroom at 11am, and ob coach to assist grade 6–8 students or be assistant Sunday School teachers in the grade 2 & 3 classrooms. If interested,email Lori Michaud or 612-558-7465. No previous experience with special needs students required. Individualized training is provided.
Special Needs Service Greeters Needed

First Responders Needed
First Responders willing to share their talents & time monthly for the 9 or 10:45 Arden Hills service, contact Loree at 651-214-8618 or Traci at 651-797-7801.
Sixty soldiers from the 407th (across the road from Arden Hills campus) have asked to be prayed & cared for by North Heights. Would your small group or ministry be interested in adopting a soldier? The 407th is deploying to Afghanistan this coming year for mission building: schools, hospitals, and infrastructure. Want to Volunteer at Feed My Starving Children?
Sign up to package food at www.FMSC.org. FMSC sends food to people in need all over the world, including the victims of recent earthquakes. The need is as great as ever with more than 60 countries receiving FMSC's volunteer-packed meals.
Wings of Nutrition
Be God’s wings for moving food into the hands of the hungry. Drive one day a week from grocery store to outreach mission. Call Dick at 651-638-0019.
Feed My Sheep
Do you know someone who is recovering at home and could use a meal? Can you help deliver it? Call the Care Team about the need and tell them you are available. They’ll connect you with a meal to deliver. Email care team or 651-797-7854.
Volunteer with Catering & Food Service
Looking for people willing to help out with community outreach meals, banquet setup, kitchen prep assistance, food service core teams, dinner theater ushers and greeters, New Beginnings meal preparation, Sunday morning hospitality, and much more! Contact Brian Bergstrom at 651-797-7838.
Drive4Him—Because You Can!
If you are over 18 and can give a ride on Sunday to worship once a month, you will bless those who can no longer drive the roads you are now privileged to drive. $5/ride gas car available for those able to drive. Call Joyce at 763-780-1183 if you are able to drive or need a ride, and let us know which campus you frequent. Mayfield Apartments residents should call Mary Lou at 651-481-7162.
Serve in the Library
Email Doreen or 651-797-7925. Saturday evenings at Roseville campus 15–30 minutes before 6 p.m. service; Sunday mornings at Arden Hills campus, 30–45 minutes between services, 10:15–11am.
Fueling Faith
If you can help with a ride but need help covering gas costs, gas cards are now available to help defer your out-of-pocket expense. Call Joyce or Mary Lou (above) and tell them you would like a Fueling Faith Card. Thanks to a benevolent gift, North Heights is able to contribute $5 in gas toward every to-and-from ride you make possible for one of our members. What’s our thinking? If we were to purchase a North Heights bus or van, we’d not only have maintenance to tend, but we’d have only one vehicle to cover far-reaching sides of town. Instead, by helping you with gas costs, we have dozens of vehicles picking up members all over town. It’s the body at work! For more information, email Jan Johnson or 651-797-7850.
Meals on Wheels
Make a difference with a warm greeting and a warm meal! Meals on Wheels delivers thousands of meals in the Roseville area each month—but more than a warm meal, this delivery is sometimes an individual’s only contact with the outside world. Make a difference by being a Meals on Wheels substitute driver. About twice a year you would be asked to serve from 10:45am to 12:30pm We have route drivers but are always in need of substitute drivers to fill in now and then. Call Jim at 763-786-5425.
Prayer Shawl Ministry

Greet Visitors at Our Reception Desk
The welcome place for many who enter our church is the North Heights Reception Desk at Door B in Arden Hills. We are looking for a few friendly faces (men, women, or young adults) to greet and help visitors. If you would like to volunteer for a Sunday, we need two shifts of volunteers from 8:30 to 10:30am and from 10:30am to 12:30pm. Work once a month and make a difference in how people experience your church. Call the Reception Desk at 651-797-7800 and dial 0 to say you can help!
Interested in Becoming a North Heights Visitation Minister?
We have a number of members awaiting a visitor. Can we match you with a member of North Heights who can’t make it to church? Do you have 1–2 hours a week to be blessed? Our lay visitation ministers go through an interview and application process and commit to participation in Community Care’s ongoing Continuing Ed.For more information, contact Bob Boyum, Chaplain for Senior Care, at 651-797-7854.
Need Bread
- Weds., 8:30am, Roseville campus. Bread Ministry provides breads/pastries. Freewill donations.
