Hospitality Center for Chinese—English Corner
Host Families Needed!
Host a new Chinese student arriving in July or August. If you have an extra room in your home, could you prayerfully consider a hosting experience? Being a host family requires four main commitments:

Meet your Chinese student at the airport.

Provide him/her with a room and basic hospitality for 1-7 days.

Assist as you are able and as needed, in transportation, getting a cell phone, opening a bank account, and finding an apartment.

Pray for your student.
The Hospitality Center for Chinese will support you in this endeavor, such as helping with transportation. If hosting is even a remote possibility for you, we would love to talk with you and answer any questions you might have. Contact Phyllis at 651-639-8226 or

Furniture Donations Needed!
The Hospitality Center for Chinese is also looking for gently-used furniture donations to give away to Chinese students and families. If you have furniture you'd like to donate or would like to be a volunteer driver, please let us know! Items that are most needed include: beds, desks, chairs, and tables.
