Opportunities to Serve

TRAINING FOR LAY BIBLICAL COUNSELING

​Do you have a heart for helping people find emotional and relational healing? No experience required. Full training provided. North Heights Counseling Clinic begins lay counselor training in January 2021 meeting twice weekly: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:30-8:30pm. The orientation for counselors/therapists with a Master’s degree is shorter. To apply, call 651-797-7484 and leave a message. An application/interview process will follow.

Sunday School, Wednesday Night & Nursery

Looking for volunteers for both Arden Hills and Roseville Sunday School and Nursery, and Wednesday Night. If we have enough volunteers, this is a minimal commitment monthly for all of our helpers. Contact Jordan Gehlhar or Melissa Erickson for more information.

RUBY'S PANTRY—FOOD DISTRIBUTION

Saturday, November 14, 9–10:30AM, Arden Hill Campus
This ministry distributes food to members of the community. Volunteers needed to pre-package dry goods the days preceding the event, unload trucks early morning the day of the event, or load food distributions into cars during the event. If you are able to help, all volunteers, whether you have volunteered in the past or not, must fill out Ruby Pantry's Volunteer Application (select "Arden Hills" as site location) and email RubysPantry@nhlc.org

Operation Christmas Child  

Video: Pastor TJ talks with a young man whose family escaped genocide in Rwanda. Hear his story about how he met Jesus in an Operation Christmas Child shoebox gift with a sticky note.

October 11–November 8, Roseville and Arden Hills
Pack a gift-filled shoebox for a child in need around the world. Shoeboxes, brochures and details will be available at both campuses on Sunday, October 11. Drop off your gift-filled shoebox at the Roseville Narthex or Arden Hills Doors A or B by November 8. Include a check for $9 payable to Samaritans Purse/memo line: OCC. Mask Making Ministry

When we begin worshipping together in our buildings, face masks will be encouraged for a season for the comfort of others. If can sew, we need your help to make face masks. Email Diane.Armstrong@nhlc.org and include how many masks you will create and when they will be completed. Instructions»

Fabric Donations

100% cotton fabric needed to make face masks. If you have or need fabric,  email Diane.Armstrong@nhlc.org.

SMALL GROUP LEADERS & Co-Leaders

Have you been with North Heights for a while? Are you familiar with being led by the Holy Spirit and have good knowledge of God's Word? The next generation of Christ followers needs you. Will you prayerfully consider becoming a Small Group Leader or Co-Leader to walk alongside others in their faith? North Heights offers training and resources. Food Ministry

Volunteer drivers needed to deliver food items from retail stores to organizations in need for the Wings of Nutrition food ministry. Both regular route drivers and back-up drivers needed. Contact Dick Jacobsen at 612-310-6227 or 651-633-6195.

Meals on Wheels

Substitute drivers needed for approximately one hour every third Friday. Call Jim Maass at 763-786-5425.

Military Troop Support

Citizens Supporting Our Armed Forces (CSOAF) ships care packages to troops all over the world every month. Drop off items (hygiene items, protein bars, coffee, jerky, wet wipes, etc.) at the donation bin at Arden Hills Door B and Roseville Narthex. List of military care package items.
